I am a university trained fine arts and fashion photographer as well as a nationally published photojournalist. I received most of my photography training at Louisiana State University's School of Art. While in college I was privileged to have worked as the Chief Staff Photographer for The Daily Reveille, a well respected nationally recognized award winning newspaper. In my senior year I was asked show my work in the University Art Gallery. Upon graduation I went to work with The Advocate, the major newspaper for the city of Baton Rouge, and begin shooting major freelance projects as well.
In 2005 I was approached by Governor Blancos office to become her staff photographer, a position I gladly accepted. However this career was short lived because of budget constraints caused by hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
In November 2005 I left the Governors office and began to shoot freelance full time. It was during this period that I also began to expand my focus to include documentary style wedding photography.
I now split my time between weddings, portraits, fashion, art, and commerical projects.
My work has appered in on the cover of CD's, books, newspapers, and magazines all across the country - including:
